Congratulations to The Main Club -- making history in Superior since 1983 -- and the subject of a NEW book from Meg Gorzycki and the Minnesota Historical Society!
"Remember the Main: The Gay Bar That Started A Movement in the Northland" is now on sale at independent booksellers near you. Celebrating the 43-year legacy of founder Bob Jansen, the book explores what The Main Club has meant to the Twin Ports over the decades. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Book celebrates legacy of Superior's Main Club "Remember the Main" will be available June 9. A release party is June 13 at the Main Club.

And that's exactly why we are celebrating our Wisconsin LGBTQ elders with projects like Beacons of Brew City:
Thank you to The lgbtq+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project for breaking down generational barriers in Chicago. Our community needs to stop seeing age as a curse or burden, and start seeing age as an honor and privilege that not everyone gets. Being an elder should be a point of pride! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

We're proud to support the next generation of Wisconsin LGBTQ historians. Meet our summer intern, Noah (he/him,) who joins us from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire now through September. Noah introduces himself in his own words:
"Hi! I am pursuing my Masters of Public History, currently doing my thesis on the relationship between AIDS activists in Wisconsin and the state government. The Wisconsin LGBTQ History Project aligns with career goals, and I would love to work full-time for a similar organization after graduation. I am living in Eau Claire this summer with my two cats (Skunk and Tucker.)"
