My recent fixation has been old time paintings with a tale about dogs.

“Llywelyn and His Brave Hound, Gelert” by Gourlay Steell, legend of Prince Llywelyn the Great mistakenly killing his loyal dog Gelert, believing he had harmed his baby, when in reality Gelert had saved the child from a wolf.

The last depiction is what we would have wanted to see.

In life there is always what happened, what we believed happened, and the truth. Sometimes the truth sucks so we recreate the moments we enjoyed kind of like this art. :)
