I embarked on this project over a year ago with a pure Afghan (from seed), your typical broad-leaf variety from the Sar-Hawaz region. Subsequently, I bred it with a Colombian Gold male (also from seed), a legendary, pure sativa landrace originating from the Santa Marta mountains of Colombia.

The Afghan female contributed substantial thiol/mercaptan compounds and imparted some purple hues to the plant.

On the other hand, the Colombian Gold male sativa enhanced the plant’s volume, potency, and introduced a sharper, more acrid “cat piss/ammonia” aroma when the flowers are broken open.

Together, these two plants create an intensely pungent and acrid aroma, reminiscent of a combination of burnt rubber, sulfur/rotten eggs, garlic, and sewage all at once. The scent carries a heavy, greasy quality that coats the nostrils and lingers for hours.

Here we are at week 10, gave them a 48hr dark period and then the chop. These plants are loud, with a sweet sugary smell and a slight undertone of cookies. Looking forward to running these again outside this spring!!!
