Hey there lil man,

It’s been a minute since we have talked. Ironic that you dressed like a devil that Halloween. You were far from that. You were a good kid. Maybe a little misunderstood and weird, but that is what makes you you. Those things will become your super powers so don’t ever feel like you need to hide them!

You will go through some big things in your life. Some are by your choices and others will be because life had other plans. They will change you. Be gentle with your self. Show yourself grace. You had to go through those things to become who you are now.

Be yourself. Be the kind, loving, empathetic, fun kid that made you you. Those traits will serve you as you get older. They will help you make people around you better.

Always choose you. Always love yourself. People will come and go in your life. People will love you and others won’t understand you. You will always know yourself and what makes you special.

You will always be okay. You will always be safe. You will always be loved. I’ll make sure of it!
