Read about Ricky!

If you asked Ricky Helmboldt ’26 to tell you about his first love, he’d likely start with swimming. “I started swimming when I was six years old,” he says. “My great-uncle was the one who got me in the pool. And it’s stuck with me ever since.” So, coming from a family of student-athletes, being able to compete at the collegiate level was not only a dream come true, but also at the forefront of Ricky’s college decision.

We are proud to announce that COM Aquatics alumnus Nathan Keller has graduated and officially joined our Physical Therapy staff.

Nathan began swimming at COM when he was 12 years old and graduated from Midland High School in 2019. During his time at COM, he competed at a high level, earning qualifications for State Finals, Sectionals, Futures, and ISCA Junior Nationals.

After graduation, Nathan went on to swim at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he studied Rehabilitative Sciences with minors in Psychology and Business Management. He then pursued his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Texas Tech University.

Please help us welcome Dr. Nathan Keller, DPT, back home to COM Aquatics. It is always special when our alumni return to give back to the community that helped launch their journey.
