Day 2 at World Happiness Summit was filled with powerful conversations, meaningful connections, new ideas, and moments that reminded us what’s possible when people come together with a shared intention to create a better future.
From discussions on happiness, gratitude, resilience, purpose, and mental health to conversations around AI, leadership, workplace wellbeing, and human flourishing — the energy throughout Cascais was inspiring, thoughtful, and deeply human.
We heard from global leaders, researchers, authors, psychologists, educators, innovators, and changemakers all exploring one central question:
How do we build healthier, happier, and more connected lives and societies?
But beyond the stage, Day 2 was equally defined by the human experience unfolding throughout the summit — spontaneous conversations between strangers, moments of reflection, shared laughter, new friendships, and a sense of belonging that could be felt across the entire community.
This is what WOHASU is about.

We’re excited to welcome Tamara Lechner to World Happiness Summit 2026 as part of our Tech for Good panel in Cascais.
As Chair of the AI for Human Flourishing think tank within Harvard Human Flourishing Program, Tamara is helping lead a global conversation around how technology can better support human wellbeing, connection, and flourishing.
Her work sits at the intersection of AI, emotional intelligence, workplace culture, and human potential — challenging organizations to rethink what progress should actually look like in the age of artificial intelligence.
At WOHASU, she’ll explore how humans and AI can work together in ways that elevate wellbeing, purpose, and meaningful impact.
