So early on I just wanted to customize shoes for my friends. I just wanted to do something my immediate friends thought was cool. Then I wanted to do work for the local d-boys(some were friends). They were the closest people with more expendable income. Then I wanted to do work for celebrities/ media. I wanted to be able to be like “look, I did this for this person/ magazine etc”. Then I would get commissioned for work that I never even thought that I wanted to do. Art work that REALLY meant something to people.

This client got these forces done for him and his brother. The Jean used were from their late brother. It was 2 pairs of his favorite diesel jeans. I had to go above and beyond what was asked. Nothing too specific was asked so I was able to really use my “powers” to really make these special and something they would want to wear even if it’s one time(they are not sure if they wanna just display them)

I work on so many different things that I just want to get to the next project but projects like this slow me down and remind me their are times when these items are held close to the clients hearts.

More than just a pair of sneakers. A feeling, in physical form, that shares a story. Artwork.
