In less than two years, he built this company into a large book of commercial business and this company was acquired by a large competitor. After successfully selling and exiting his first company, Mr. Kasmai ventured into consulting and landed a government contract with the Department of Defense and Secret Service to develop high technology finger print scanning devices. As a result of this experience, in 2004 Mr. Kasmai saw an opportunity to enter into the Children and Family Safety business and thus founded a business named Guard-A-Kid. After just four short months of operations and with only a proof-of-concept Mr. Kasmai turned to franchising and in just 5 years Guard-A-Kid quickly became the industry leader and a very successful franchise in the field of Children and family safety. By 2010, only five years after its initial launch, Guard-A-Kid expanded to over 175 franchises in 11 countries worldwide and was ranked among the top 500 franchises for 6 years in a row, ranked in the top 10 new franchises and for 2 years in a row this franchise was ranked among the top 100 fastest growing franchises in America. In mid 2010, Guard-A-Kid was acquired by an investment entity and after another successful business exit Mr. Kasmai decided to retire and travel the world. As a true entrepreneur retirement proved to be short lived and in 2012 Franchise Creator was born; with the idea to help other entrepreneurs across the globe successfully franchise their business. In just under a decade Franchise Creator has successfully franchised over 600 brands including many of which have also successfully exited for tens of millions of dollars and many of which have also been ranked amongst the Top 100 Fastest Growing Franchises and the Franchise 500.
