5 months later and HERE WE ARE!!
These past few months have taken us on a spin, that’s for sure — Steph got married, moved to NC, Laurie officially is living on her own in Portland, and we are now able to fully process our new way of life and workflow as long distance business partners and TWINS (with separation anxiety 😅). It’s been tough, but so rewarding all at the same time!
On another note, we have some exciting news to share soon as well as so many awesome photos and videos that we are FINALLY going to launch on the gram! Rather late than never right?! 😂
Cheers to a new stage of our Twinship, and to getting back in the swing of things. Thanks friends for sticking with us during our hiatus and giving us so much love and support during these difficult months behind us ❤️ WE LOVE YOU and cannot wait to share all the media we’ve been hoarding haha ! Xoxo !

We’re pretty lucky to have each other as best friends and travel buddies for life ✌🏻🌇
As kids, we dreamed of “going into business together” as if we knew what all of that meant. At the time, all we knew was that we worked well as a team and whenever we put our brains together, cool things would happen. The little twins from ‘95 had big dreams but wouldn’t have believed the life we’re living now; moving away from home, living on our own, jumping 100% freelance into this creative career that we both love so much. CRAZY AMAZING things happen when you (as cliche as it sounds) take a chance on pursuing your dream. ✨

Give me a smooth jazzy tune on the stereo + a warm summer night with a chance of thunderstorms and I’m your girl! 🙌🏻💘
Hey everyone! ✌🏻 Its me, Steph - and I’m sharing the reasons why I became a photographer! 📸
FUN FACT: I have countless short stories (never finished) filling up all of the space on my old laptop. Now, to explain:
Growing up, I was 100% certain that I would become a creative writer. I loved coming up with new plots to compelling stories and writing them out with as much dreamy detail as I could. ✨But an issue that I kept experiencing was the restlessness I would have as I tried to finish each novel — all because I would have 500 more storylines floating around in my mind ready to put down on paper! It was impossible for me to finish anything to keep up with my wild imagination! 💫
During this time of soul-searching, I was messing around with my little Canon point-and-shoot camera. This is when I began noticing the similarities between my passion for writing and my joy of photography. IT FINALLY HIT ME: photography is a tool or vehicle that expresses every narrative I could ever imagine, using VISUALS to express emotion and details rather than words. Everything clicked. (No pun intended😉)
Swipe through to see some of my favorite narrative photographic explorations and feel free to share what you think!
