There is rich heritage in every stitch!
Did you know that indigenous communities learn their techniques from their ancestors?
One of the reasons we work with these communities is to help them preserve their heritage.
For centuries they have been weaving what they learned from them.
Nowadays they let us co-design with them so our pieces are traditional and timeless but with our approach of contemporary design.

Luxchilas empowers indigenous women to thrive. We are changing lives through continuous work and fair prices.
We've been working tirelessly for years, and we are constantly looking for ways to show the wonders of Colombian craftsmanship to the world.
For centuries these artisans have used ancestral techniques and now we work hand in hand with them, co-designing new products but always respecting their traditions and beliefs.
In addition to this, we have contributed with different organizations and communities by giving back, especially to their children. To date we have donated over 15.000 meals.
Now, one the most prestigious organizations in Fashion, the Accessories Council, wants to recognize this effort with the Social Impact Award.
We are so honored and proud to be considered among the finalists and want to congratulate all fellow participants.
It would mean the world to us, but most importantly to the artisans if their products could be recognized and win in this category!
