Meet Solara! She is a 1.5 year old 13 pound super sweet and super snuggly girl!

Solara is a little girl with a whole lotta character.

Solara is high energy, loves to play and loves to be near her people. She likes toys to be hers, but is good with other dogs.

Solara is a bit of an attention hog and will push other dogs out of the way to get attention, typical dachshund 😂

Solara gets VERY excited to see her people. She is working on her potty skills and will continue to get better with a schedule. She is crate trained.

Solara cannot wait to find her forever family!!

Every dog that comes through our doors is a minimum of $550 for intake expenses – vetting starts at $450 for spay/neuter, exam and vaccines and $100 for a “new start kit” to provide each DRSF doxie with a brand new bed, blanket, harness and toy that will follow them through their rescue journey – and with our average adoption fee being $350 – it is hard to keep our heads above water. Meet Elvis!! He is 11 years old and weighs 13 pounds.

Elvis is good with other dogs. His forever home must be one without little kiddos!

Elvis has a heart murmur that requires medication. He is doing well and did well under anesthesia for his dental.

Let’s give this senior sweetheart a special forever home to spend his last years with lots of love!!
