Grateful for a really cool experience this weekend.
I was invited by a local Miami soccer academy coach to be part of a film shoot for an upcoming movie called Baton, starring and directed by Danny Ramirez. Being on set, seeing the production up close, and sharing the field with professional actors was something I will not forget.
The scene I was in was an intense 5v5 pickup match, the kind that is very common in the Miami futbol community. Fast paced, competitive, and a lot of fun to shoot. It was even better getting to meet local Miami soccer influencers and founders of semi professional clubs like Coral Gables FC during the process.
What stood out to me most was how this opportunity came from simply being active in the community. Futbol has always been a big part of my life, and many people on LinkedIn may not know that I am the founder of FUTBLR.COM and deeply involved in the Miami futbol scene.
Experiences like this remind me that strong networks are built around shared interests and genuine involvement. When you show up consistently in the spaces you care about, unexpected opportunities follow.
