June is National PTSD Awareness Month

Not all wounds are visible!

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a real mental health diagnosis that can develop after someone experiences or witnesses a traumatic event. It doesn’t mean someone is weak—it means their mind and body are responding to something that deeply impacted them.

PTSD can look different for everyone. Some people experience:

🌿 Flashbacks or nightmares
🌿 Anxiety or panic
🌿 Trouble sleeping
🌿 Feeling constantly on edge
🌿 Avoiding certain places or memories
🌿 Feeling disconnected from others

Healing isn’t about “just getting over it.” Healing takes time, support, and compassion.
