Household pressure regulators
The differential pressure regulator is a valve that allows you to adjust and stabilize the pressure level in the system. Compatible with liquid and gaseous media.

The principle of operation of the device

- Direct-acting regulators, which are powered by the energy of the working medium flow. The sensing element is a membrane, bellows, spring or lever equipped with a load;
- A reducer of indirect action. The device is powered by a third-party energy source, for example, an electric or pneumatic drive. The pressure sensor is a sensitive element.

Types of pressure reducers
Several types of regulators are used in household engineering systems:
1. Domestic gas pressure regulator. Designed to stabilize the pressure that is necessary for the operation of gas equipment (stoves, boilers). The second task of this type of equipment is to maintain the output pressure regardless of resource consumption or changes in other parameters. Most gearboxes are able to turn off the gas in emergency mode. They are installed in distribution points of houses.
2. The water pressure regulator allows you to protect the engineering system from hydraulic shocks and avoid an emergency. The reducer reduces resource consumption and the cost of paying for water supply services. Installation is carried out in apartment buildings.
3. The heating differential pressure regulator ensures reliable and convenient operation of the elements of the heat supply system. Prevents the occurrence of water hammer.
4. A pressure regulator with a monometer allows monitoring in the areas of engineering communications before and after the gearbox.
Each type of equipment is designed to prevent emergencies and make the use of engineering systems durable, predictable and safe.

- Body: stainless steel AISI 316
- Gasket: PTFE
- Filter strainer: stainless steel AISI 316
- Temperature: from -4 to +446⁰F / from -20 to +230⁰C

Strainer filter on a horizontal pipeline is installed in a horizontal position with the cover down. Vertical installation is only possible with flow direction from top to bottom.
The direction of the medium flow must match the arrow on the filter body.
To completely clean the filter, remove the cover and remove the strainer. Then the strainer must be rinsed under running water to remove foreign particles. When refitting the cap, it is recommended to use a new gasket. The cap can only be opened when the system is switched off.

Proper pipe fittings are crucial for the stable and safe operation of the entire system. The control valve is usually necessary for sections of the pipeline with a turn or branches. Special valves in the design allow you to quickly block the flow – to prevent accidents and other emergency situations.

The regulating valve has received its wide distribution for domestic and industrial water pipes. It also becomes a prerequisite for any fire protection systems and pumping stations.

Including regulating pipe fittings allows for effective control of the working environment:
- Regulation of the total flow;
- Mixing media in suitable proportions;
- Liquid level control;
- Maintaining the required pressure in the pipeline.

One of the most relevant types of pipeline fittings remains an electrically operated control valve. The purpose of the electric drive is to provide constant operating values for uninterrupted maintenance of the set parameters. It is possible to achieve a smoother adjustment of bandwidth, with high tuning accuracy.

The following advantages of valves can be distinguished:
- High resistance to high loads over a long service life;
- A wide range of products with the ability to choose solutions for a specific task and working conditions;
- Corrosion resistance is an urgent condition with constant exposure to moisture and other media, excluding the risk of violations;
- Proven durability – for years of service without the need for repair;
- Easy of use and maintenance. It is enough to install the equipment correctly without the need for constant monitoring and configuration.

The operation of the shut–off valves is based on the movement of the valve cone, with regulation by changing the flow capacity of the medium. Therefore, an effective solution of shut-off, regulating, separating and mixing tasks is possible.
A pneumatic, electric, electromagnetic or hydraulic actuator can be responsible for controlling the valve.

The valve opens and closes due to the corresponding signal received by the actuator in most cases from the control body. Usually it is a programmable controller that takes into account the operating parameters of the environment, the specifics of the outdoor air and additional conditions.

It is also possible to have manual control as an additional, auxiliary option in the operation of the shut-off valves.

The installation must be carried out with mandatory control of the correspondence of the direction of movement of the working medium and the arrow on the valve body. It is necessary to thoroughly flush the pipeline system before installation, with the arrangement of the connecting elements of the pipeline on one axis, protecting the valve from stresses from the pipeline. Installation is possible with any position of the valve (except for the location of the electric drive down). This condition is necessary to prevent the contact of condensate and water from the valve leaks with the actuator.
There should be sufficient free space around the valve for disassembly and maintenance as needed. It is necessary to exclude the installation of the valve and the actuator on objects with an explosive atmosphere. The optimal conditions for the installation and operation of the valve are the temperature in the range of 2-150°C (35,6-302°F).
