Digital Elkhorn Patterns for _ Coral Reef and Ecosystem Rehabilitation _
Elkhorn corals, which are one of the main coral species in Florida, have suffered a 97% decline in the past decades. In this project, digital tools like Grasshopper are used to create early prototypes based on the texture and patterns of the surface polyps of the coral. Their small scale complexity is fundamental to create new artificial habitats for the marine species impacted by Elkhorn decline, as well as help the regrowth of new corals. Those prototypes are designed with additive design strategies to be 3D printed with sustainable materials.

D5 P1 - Bus stop design project
Rendering from my first project in a graduate design studio.
For my proposal I wanted to create a bus stop accessible to children and families. The design resembles the fun shapes and colors of a playground, while keeping the kids safe and entertained.
Can improving bus stops in Miami, addressing the needs of the community, help increase the use of public transport?
I also had the great opportunity to be selected among my section to present my idea to a super jury after out final review.
