This weekend, Idahoans from across the state took a pause from the campaigns, the politics, and the noise to honor the life and legacy of Dirk Kempthorne.

Governor, Senator, Mayor, husband, father, and statesman, Dirk served Idaho with humility, dignity, and a deep love for the people he represented. His impact on our state will be felt for generations.

May we all remember that while politics can divide us at times, moments like these remind us of the values that unite us as Idahoans.

Rest in peace, Governor Kempthorne. Idaho thanks you.

If you’re in Precinct #2107, your Election Day voting location has been moved to the Meridian Seventh-day Adventist Church on Black Cat Rd for the May 19, 2026 election.

Better yet, skip the line and make a plan now:

🗳️ Absentee ballot request deadline is May 8 at 5pm
