Noe Farms
Honoring our deep farming roots and the one who gave us the land.
Today is a sad day here on the farm as we say goodbye to the one that started it all, Nutter “Nutty” Butter.
She gave us everything she had, and over the last couple of weeks, we gave everything we had trying to fight whatever sickness took her from us.
Nutty taught our family a lot. She taught us how to be good stewards of what God has given us, patience, and even a little anger management. She showed us what homesteading really means.
She gave us the richest, tastiest, fullest-cream milk a kid could want. Because of Nutty we learned how to build barns and fences, chase cows across the pasture, raise calves, bottle feed, and teach the kids how to milk. Some of our favorite memories were made together in the milking stall.
She drove us crazy sometimes, but she was always the sweetest with the kids and her calves.
This won’t be the end of the farm, but we aren’t quite sure what the future holds yet.
Thank you for everything, Nutty. You started something special here. ❤️🐄
