Guys, we could use some help. As you are all aware we are at capacity yet this week we’ve had yet more returned large dogs. This means more staff hours, more food, expenditure, and more cost all around.

In addition, Donations of food and money have been minimal. Rent is due utilities are due. Food storage is low. We will send need to order vaccinations and other supplies.

You have always been our backbone in our support and we need you now more than ever. If you can donate please help, we need you our pups need you.

PS if anyone out there is looking to Foster please reach out below is a group of the beautiful babies that are available for Foster. The large ones are the ones that have been returned. The two puppies on top are just precious and they need a place to stay until they find their family.

To say that we’ve had a busy week of intake is an understatement. There are puppies and dogs all over the city. It’s almost like it’s raining cats and dogs. Yes we even took in one of those.(MISFIT MUTT RESCUE ALSO LOVES CATS.)

We have had two adult dogs returned, taken in four beautiful stray babies and had to return from Foster.

Many of these pups are still in need of their Spay neuter surgery updates on vaccines and now we have a couple of pups that require heartworm treatment.

This wonderful little girl who we know as Remi has now made her way home to New York. It has been quite a pleasure to see her grow and play over the last few weeks and she recovered from her space surgery became vaccinated and strong enough to make her way to the northeast.

Without our staff, Lauren Gay, Kendrick Roberts, David Wilson, Cameron Roberts, Daniel Yates, Devin Grimes, Charles Gatewood and of course Marvin, we would not have been able to do all of these wonderful things.

Thank you also to Holly from Marianna Dog Pound, who was instrumental in securing these four babies when they had no hope! She provided Hope at the light of the tunnel and now they have homes and lives that will forever be changed. Stay in the right lanes.

Sarah with the soulful eyes!! Sarah found her family and left the south behind.

It’s been reported that she is truly in love with her new mom! We are grateful for the love and care we were able to give and even more thankful for her new family to continue the journey!!

Roxy was a girl who won all hearts in the three months she was with our rescue. She recently found her family and oh how they love her big!

Lauren thank you for brining this sweet girl off the streets and to work with you - she was so very worth the effort.

This girl stole hearts and moved north for the rest of her life of luxury!

All boys should have a dog!! Well all children that is!

This is GrandMa Chi - she made her way home this weekend to her new family and her new boy!!

What an incredible and precious boy, we’ve had the opportunity to care for!

Ian came to us several weeks ago was an eight week old baby having been taken out of the snow with his siblings. Carlotta his wonderful and precious Foster Mom did everything she can to give him a stable great beginning.

We are happy now to say that he’s made his way home and will be living in the northeast with his fantastic new family.
