Need help preparing for the Enhanced ACT?

The ACT is the most important test a student takes during his high school years; however, many students approach it totally unprepared. Preparation and practice are the keys to success on the ACT.

To aid you in this endeavor, Bethany Henry will be holding a prep class to prepare for the April 11 and June 13 tests. The class will meet for a total of ten hours of class time. The class will focus on strategies for success on the ACT, covering
Academic content,
Calming of nerves, and
Time Management skills.

All three required subtests of the new ACT will be explored and practiced, and tips will be given for the optional science test as needed.

Mrs. Henry has taught at three colleges and two high schools over the last thirty years, and currently teaches eight classes at Bellevue Tutorial. Additionally, she works with students on grammar, proof-reading, math, and all areas of the ACT. She has a proven record of ACT improvement among her students—with composite score increases of as much as 7 points.

The basic class will cost $150, which includes a $47 textbook and a three-ring binder of additional materials.

The 10-hour class will be held at Bellevue Baptist (E244—second floor east wing) on Monday afternoons from 4 to 6 on February 23 and March 2, 9, 23 & 30. The cost is $150. Register before February 1 to receive a $10 early bird discount.

The class is available to homeschooled or traditionally-schooled students age 12 and up who are preparing to take the ACT in the next twelve months.

For greatest benefit, register with ACT by March 6 to take the April 11 test.
