Ben is an 8 year old Sheltie that was rescued by Fresh Start Sheltie Rescue. He is severely overweight and now requires surgery.

Why you ask? Because he has proximal intertarsal luxation in his left hock which occurs when severe dorsal flexion causes the disruption of the plantar ligament complex of calcaneus and fourth tarsal bone.
