also known as Retro Rick has been performing ever since he was 10 years old when he first learned the guitar and sang in the church choir and has not looked back since then. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Rick is a graduate of La Roche College where he graduated with a double major in Business Management and Psychology. Rick has been a middle manager in manufacturing (US Steel), a quality control supervisor in the field of research (Westat, and N.O.R.C at the University of Chicago) and has worked in education and Journalism (Certified Teacher in the State of Florida and independent writer/author) but he never forgot about his music interest throughout these career adventures. Although being a talented and accomplished part-time performer for most of his life the attribute that separates Rick from the rest is his gregarious energy and interactive showmanship. The mantra that he constantly repeats at every one of his performances is as follows: "Our number one rule here is that we have fun." Rick has performed in several corners of North America including several world Famous Venues Such as The Whiskey a Go Go (L.A.), The Blue Lamp Blues Bar (San Francisco) and The Bitter End (New York City).In his music career he has also been fortunate enough to have shared the stage with several world renowned jazz and blues performers such as Hugh Masekela, Harold Betters, Jimmy Ponder, Kenny Blake, Bo Didley and Bo Didley Junior. Retro Rick's music encompasses a plethora of styles designed to please a wide range of listeners. He performs jazz, blues soft rock, hard rock, Reggae and Island music, soft ballads, blues, folk and country to mention a few. One of his favorite assertions is "I'll perform anything from Sinatra to Santana to Sublime."
