L.A. Keyboard Project

The Frisco School of Music and Performance Arts recently hosted their annual Faculty and Honor Student Concert. I performed my arrangement of Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi. My honor student, Mark Moscaya performed The Theme from Jurassic Park by John Williams.

Here's the story behind my arrangement of Linus and Lucy:

Charlie Brown and gang head out to explore a new park accompanied by their chaperone, Mary and Her Little Lamb. Schroeder invites the Three Blind Mice as he needs back up singers for a new tune he has composed. Suddenly the skies darken, winds began to blow and thunder and lightning cast their ominous presence on the group. Lucky for them a cave is nearby and they huddle inside and take refuge. BOOM!!! Lightning strikes and the shadows cast of Mary her Lamb and the Three Blind Mice are almost too much to bear! They must be Brave! Calmly they wait out the storm and when the sun breaks through they shout."Make a run for it!"…. All ends well as they return home Triumphantly…
