We all know https:// is mandatory in 2025, but just having the padlock isn't enough. Weak ciphers, outdated TLS versions, or missing intermediate certificates can leave your Laravel apps vulnerable (and hurt your SEO).

I use the Qualys SSL Labs Server Test on every project before launch. It’s free, takes about 60 seconds, and gives you a deep-dive letter grade (A+ to F).

I never ship without an A grade. The Common Gotcha: Missing HSTS headers often keeps you stuck at a B.
