"Today we honor our veterans living with headache and migraine disease. Migraine disproportionately affects those whom have served, largely due to brain injury or trauma experienced while serving.
One study showed that 36% of U.S. veterans that served a 12 month deployment in Iraq were diagnosed with migraine or showed migranie symptoms.
There is an enormous physical and emotional toll that migraine and other headache disorders can take. Together, we are committed to advocating for those whom have served us, and to them we say - thank you!"
