My name is Patrick Nelson. I own and operate Nelson Integrity Septic. The first 2 years in business were amazing…every time I worried about getting slow the phone would ring. Septic pumping, repairs and real estate septic inspection keep me very busy. Everything was well balanced and I loved meeting and helping people in a bind with their septic problems. I started to lean more into the installation part of the business, being a Class 2 installer with a soil/site evaluator license that lets me grade soil and site conditions and design conventional systems. It’s been 7 years and I’ve stayed slammed with work. I’ve worked til dark, 7 days a week sometimes, doing service calls on my way in from an install. I’ve spent every birthday, Memorial Day and Labor Day on an excavator working, watching the boats go by on the lake while mine sits. I did all this for my family, but I’ve realized money isn’t as important as my time with them. I’ve been blessed with my customers and word of mouth, but it’s time to slow it down. I would like to focus on service calls and sale inspections, and add to my 50 or so aerobic maintenance contract customers. Feel free to call with any septic installation questions, but please keep me in mind if in need of these smaller services and check out my detailed work on my Nelson Integrity Septic page. My business number is (830)265-3443.

I had a 20 year old septic design on paper. Pulled my measurements, setbacks from house and property lines, and considered them strattling the trees. Made an educated guess on where the end of the lateral lines would/should be and started digging. No spotter, just experience. I pulled the end cap off with the excavator bucket tooth without breaking the pipe. Ninja level achieved.

Set the tank, starting filling for leak check and went to lunch. Got back and checked it…something didn’t look right!!! Divider wall had shifted. Pulled lid at 7:30 the next morning, not fixable..had the new tank in by 8am. 11 years of installing and never had that happen.

Aerobic spray with a view…had the hammer ready but got lucky..just clay. Had to get it in before the retaining wall was installed and the yard brought up to final grade. Went an extra 100 feet to water the oak trees. Pump line 2 feet deep for protection.
