The next edition of Sugarcane Soup is out! "Thoughtful Fun For Families to Enjoy Together."
Check it out! Find it at Robert's Restaurant in the Medina Entertainment Center, The Wayzata Muni Bar and Grill, Latuff's Pizzeria, The Original Pancake House Maple Grove, The Original Pancake House Plymouth, and now in North Clinic and Park Dental! Thanks to our sponsors who value quality family together time!
We have a winner for Sugarcane Soup's 'make up a sentence contest,' sponsored by Park Dental! Our reader, Lucy, sent in this creative doosy: "My pulchritudinous teacher told me to make a sentence using mimsy, or she was staying up for a nychthemeron and would get no sleep." She won a Kids' Sonicare toothbrush from Park Dental!
And dear deeply valued teachers, fear not; she learned the word "pulchritudinous" in Sugarcane Soup, and it means "beautiful." :)

From the smarty-pants Purdue University people regarding connecting with your kids over mealtimes: try to carve out one day a week to dedicate to your family meal! Or just go to one of our restaurant partners - The Muni in Wayzata - supporting quality family together-time with Sugarcane Soup!
Purdue University - Center for Families In all cultures throughout recorded history, family meals have been an honored ritual for sharing food and for providing an opportunity for family members to connect with one another. Why sponsor a section in Sugarcane Soup?
Incredible value and visibility while supporting quality family together-time. Why just be seen when you can be seen doing something GOOD?
Aligning with a positive force in the community promotes an altruistic image for your business; it sets you apart from your competition in an extremely beneficial way. Sugarcane Soup offers very sweet value that you won't find elsewhere in disposable advertising such as coupon booklets or advertisement mailings; not only will your business actually be seen for a significant duration of time, it will be seen as doing something GOOD for the community!
Our sponsors believe in using their advertising dollars to do something good and give back to the community. Kindness counts!

Our Sugarcane Soup publication was created with an understanding of these very important statistics about families dining together! Sugarcane Soup supports building healthy, connected families, nourishing souls and parent/child relationships. We build our content to get families talking, interacting, and engaged at dinnertime!
The most important thing you can do with your kids? Eat dinner with them. Good for mind and body.

Random Act of Kindness spotting: this sign is in the Maple Grove Home Depot parking lot!
Random act of kindness alert!
We at Sugarcane Soup are inspired by the stories (and at times brought to tears) on KS95 radio of people in great need this holiday season for a bit of surprise kindness. Lets do it too (in our own small way)! Email us at contest@sugarcanesoup about a friend, coworker, or family member who could use a 20$ breakfast giftcard to our amazing (I mean crazy delicious - I recommend the Banana Pancakes) restaurant partner, The Original Pancake House in Maple Grove on Bass Lake Road. Tell us why your friend needs this little random act of kindness right now in a few sentences; we will put all entries into a hat and pull a couple of winners. A gift card will be sent to you to present to them! Invite your friends to participate and share this post on your wall!
Kindness. It's contagious. :)
