Making ornaments for my ornament exchange group. (spoiler alert: they’re not going to make it in time for Christmas this year 🫤) I haven’t had as much time to craft Christmas presents this year, and it makes me sad 😢 I love making things for people, but I’m still trying to figure out how life at home works since I’ve gone back to work and have so much less free time now than I used to. Must plan earlier next year… 🧶❤️🎄

I’ve started working at my kids’ school, which leaves little time for hobbies when I get home mentally and physically exhausted. But I’ve had some time during TOFW and General Conference to be able to sit and work on some projects. And with Fall Break this week, I was able to finish this striped hat and cowl set for myself. Now we’re just waiting for the cooler weather and the ❄️snows❄️ to come.

I’ve been making a lot of hats, recently, too. It seems I know way too many people in my life with cancer this year, which really sucks. My prayers go out to all of them, and I try to send my love through yarn. First is my brother-in-law, battling lung cancer this year and kickin’ butt! I was able to deliver this hat to him last month when we were visiting in WA. 🧶❤️
