I’ve never felt connected or inspired by quotes about being like flowers. I guess that can happen when you’re born into a particularly unfavorable environment.

It’s been 20 years of safety. I’ve grown in so many ways, but my default is still survival mode. This year I want to break down walls and flourish with the wildflowers.
