Everyday we received curfew alert to stay home after 8:00. And honestly I never bothered to look at the alert until Yesterday . I went to Brooklyn yesterday and on my home on the FDR drive as I got off at 96 street to cross town...every street south of 96 street was blocked with police cars. In truth it appears that they’re protecting the rich white people who resides south of 96 st. Protecting the lives of people south of 96 street. more importantly than the ones north of 96 street. I’m tired of explaining this to my girls and I think it’s protecting the wealthy/situations/behaviors/rules....125 street was vandalized, Fordham road also but they don’t care because we don’t financially support their campaigns....when we vote know who you are voting for and look at the bigger picture it’s all about money and empowering rich white people.
