101 years ago, over 300 Black residents of Tulsa were killed by an angry and armed white mob, and an entire affluent Black community burned to the ground, its residents sent to camps to live. Here’s how it was reported at the time. This is why we need Critical Race Theory. Because our nation’s violent, racist past has been completely whitewashed and we are still playing catch-up.
