Here’s what you need to know:
👧🧒 Children under 16 must apply for a passport in person at one of 7,500+ acceptance facilities.
👨👩👧 Both parents or legal guardians must be present OR provide a signed consent form (DS-3053).
📘 Passports for kids under 16 are only valid for 5 years, not 10, so double-check those expiration dates!
