Not going to lie, this was a pretty cool moment—and one that made me pause for a second.

While checking into our hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, halfway across the world from home, someone recognized our family from Life In Rose Farm and took the initiative to introduce herself.💕

The sweet lady, who happened to be another guest at the hotel, shared that she follows our rose-growing adventures on social media after my dad struck up a conversation with her. What are the odds of that, right?!
Meanwhile, I was busy checking in with the concierge when Dad came rushing over, eager to share the exciting tea he had just learned. What puzzled him most wasn’t that someone recognized me—it was how she somehow knew he was related to me. 😂

Later, Shaw and the kids ran into her and her family at the pool. Ironically, I’m the only one that never got to meet her!

It’s funny because most days, it’s just Shaw and me behind the scenes—planting roses, pulling weeds, creating content, and sharing little pieces of our lives. We rarely stop to think about who might be watching or how far those stories might travel 🌎

What started as a small dream on a farm has connected us with people in places we’d never imagined. Moments like this are a humbling reminder that behind every like, comment, and follow is a real person ✨ Thank you for continuing to grow with us thru every twists and turns! 🙏💐

God has blessed me with a precious gift this year: to spend less time with work and more time with my girls 💕 Yesterday’s special Mass was the “passing of the light”, from the graduating 8th graders to our rising 8th graders, who will become leaders of the school. During Mass, I watched the littlest kindergartner walk by and thought, my girls used to be like that not long ago.

I’m so grateful to be present in all of their progressions, milestones, and passages this year. I’d have to miss all of them in the past because of work 😭 And though my girls understood my absence, they shouldn’t have to. I know they appreciate my being there for them now because it shows. It shows in their character, their integrity, their academics, their sportsmanship, their kindness, their confidence, their humor, their growth, and in their faith.

I know God has great plans for us up ahead, but for now, I’ll just revel in these moments 🙏🕊️

Giving teachers their flowers… literally. 💐🌹

This , we shared our farm-grown rose arrangements with the educators who love, lead, encourage, and pour into our kids day after day.

A small thank-you for a very big calling.
