Sunday funday: random shots from race day. I usually spend my Regatta Sundays down at Bart Liter’s Snake Pit, because there “Ain’t no party like a Snake Pit party!” It’s also a great place to get shots coming out of the final turn. Here’s part one of two.

I was really looking forward to Brantley Gilbert, but it’s impossible to predict the weather when you book these acts. Hopefully soon!

I had to leave early due to some unfortunate circumstances, but I believe I have plenty of great shots and video footage from this weekend. I’ll be dropping that in the coming days and will edit some of my favorites from the 2026 Madison Regatta soon as well.
Shoutout to the folks that put so much time into making this weekend happen every year! It’s very time consuming and there’s a lot more that goes into these events than I’ve realized. Things don’t always go as planned, but we make the best of it. I’ve been going down to the Regatta for a long time, but no matter how bad the weather gets or how the event goes, my family and friends always leave with new memories!
Hope you guys had a great time! I’ll see y’all at an event sometime soon…

Brandon Kennedy and Miss Madison was able to get back out there and complete their Heat 1A and look to build momentum heading into tomorrow. Be sure to get down and support your hometown team tomorrow for what should be an excellent day of hydroplane racing!
