Since 2002, the program has had seven Miss Madison's become Miss Wisconsin (Tina Sauerhammer '03, Molly McGrath '04, Christina Thompson '07, Kristina Smaby '09, Paula Mae Kuiper '13, Raeanna Johnson '14, and McKenna Collins '17).

For my second video in my Points of the Crown series, I'm highlighting educational scholarship.
Through my journey as Miss Madison alone, I've earned $1,300 in scholarships, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities the Miss America Opportunity provides to young women across the country.

The Miss America Opportunity is widely recognized as the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women, and its impact reaches far beyond the stage.

Having learning disabilities isn't something I talk about often — not because I'm embarrassed, but because it's simply been my normal. I'm proud to be a fourth-generation Dean's List Badger, and even prouder to show that success can look different for everyone.

Scholarship has given me the chance to pursue my goals with confidence, and I'm so thankful to Miss America for empowering young women through education and opportunity.
