The Promotion and Engagement program hosted a Charcuterie Workshop on Wednesday, June 3 in Waterloo. The event featured cheesemaker Beth Crave who led attendees through designing their own charcuterie board to take home. It was a great opportunity for the community to learn about local meats and cheeses while having conversations about food and farming.
The P&E Program is proudly supported by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation!

Local activation of Farm Neighbors Care projects helps build connections, spread awareness and strengthen rural communities.
Shawano County Farm Bureau assembled and delivered care packages to local farmers as part of their project. Care packages in cooler bags included water, snacks, Emergen-C and work gloves which were delivered throughout May to honor May Mental Health Month.
Randy Romanski, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), assisted in delivering some of the packages and met with farmers to discuss issues impacting them.
This project was supported through a Farm Neighbors Care grant made possible by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation and McCade's Joyride.
