Claystone Farm

The antebellum Clay home on Thomaston Road is a Georgia Historic site, the location of Jimmy Carter's announcement of his bid for Governor of the Great State of Georgia. Annual Kappa Alpha cookouts were a tradition at the Farm for decades. The milking barn turned frat house is one of three building constructed from a mill on the property that provided the lumber for constructing the 'big house', the milking barn, and the nearby Ebenezer Methodist Church.
