Public Notice – Temporary Barge Repair at Tom Finley Park

As a courtesy to the public, we want to inform everyone that on Monday, June 2nd, our 18x50 construction barge will be lifted via crane and placed on work stands in a designated area of the Tom Finley Park parking lot to undergo emergency repairs.

The barge sustained a puncture from submerged debris and must be addressed immediately to ensure it remains safe for continued operation. We have spoken with TRWD and received approval from the Tom Finley Park Board to temporarily utilize a portion of the parking lot for these repairs.

At this time, the full extent of the damage is unknown, but our crew will work diligently—weather permitting—to complete the repairs as quickly as possible. We understand that construction equipment is not ideal to look at and that the barge will take up a substantial portion of the lot during this time.

For everyone’s safety, please avoid the work zone while repairs are underway.
