Save the date for own membership show at the ICC celebrating the Great Texas of Texas!

International Affairs is proud to host the inaugural “Lubbock Camera Club: Texas Through Our Eyes” photography exhibit. This exhibit showcases photographs taken by members of the Lubbock Camera Club during their trips around our home state.

Join us at the ICC on Friday, May 29 beginning at 6PM, and enjoy more than 60 images on display which celebrate the diversity of the land and culture of Texas.

Open Juried Photography Exhibition
June–July • Lubbock Garden & Arts Center

We are excited to announce that PhotoPlains! 2026 is now open for submissions!

This year marks the 32nd year of this beloved exhibition, first created by Ann McDonald to celebrate the vision and creativity of Photographers of the Plains. We are proud to continue this tradition alongside the West Texas Photographic Society of Lubbock and the Lubbock Garden & Arts Center.

Our 2026 juror is Kathy Drake, a Certified Professional Photographer with three decades of experience serving the Lubbock community through portraiture, dance photography, senior presentations, and more. We are honored to have her thoughtful eye guiding this year’s selections.

📍 Location: Lubbock Municipal Garden & Arts Center
📅 Entries Accepted:
• Monday, June 1 — 10 AM to 5 PM
• Tuesday, June 2 — 10 AM to 5 PM
🖼️ Hanging & Judging: June 3–4
🎉 Opening Reception: Friday, June 5, 7:00–8:30 PM
🏆 Awards Presentation: 7:30 PM

Eligibility & Entry Info
Open to all photographers

Up to 3 entries per artist

Work must be original, delivered in person, and hang for the full duration

Entry fee: $35 for up to 3 entries (or $15 each for 1–2 entries)

All work must be ready to hang with secure wire

No nudes or suggestive poses (per City of Lubbock policy)
