Went out to the Ft Worth Stockyards this past weekend and ended up going down a bit of a rabbit hole with the longhorns.

Didn’t plan on it turning into a series, but I ended up with a set of images that feel like they actually belong together.

Just wanted to say thanks to TTU Astronomy Public Events & Texas Tech Department of Physics and Astronomy for hosting this event last night. Aside from being a little chilly, it could not have been a better night for star gazing.

Had an amazing time hanging out in Smithville and getting an opportunity to shoot my first stockshow. All the kids did great and it was an awesome experience. Definitely looking forward to next year

What an amazing day. Sammy put his best foot forward today and won GRAND CHAMPION BARROW PIG!!!! I know is smiling so big and is so proud of you today Sammy. Just glad we got to be here to watch

Never been here before and it was kinda cool to have the place to myself. There were too many city lights to get the , but still happy with my time here
