There is an incredible irony in pastoral ministry. Pastors give their lives for the care of the souls of others, often at the sacrifice of their own soul.

Pastors, make sure you are caring for your own soul first, so you have something to pour out as you care for the souls of others. —Brian

The Shepherd's House — Practical Shepherding The Shepherd’s House is a ministry of Practical Shepherding where pastors can come, stay, and receive pastoral training and personal care at little to no expense. It is also a place to receive care and help from trained local pastors who serve as pastoral mentors with Practical Shepherding.

As pastors and ministry leaders, we lay down our lives daily for the flock, a true shepherd's calling. It's a hard, often unnoticed, sacrifice. Yet, this 'death' is filled with a unique joy and privilege.
