I was nominated by .in.motion to share my occupational profile, so here it goes... 🤗

Occ Hx:
My name is Jhenny (yes, with an h). 😜 I was born and raised in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and moved to US when I was 17. I graduated high school at 16, and was about to start college when my family went through sudden and pretty difficult life changes. Definitely a major culture and life shock to start college in a foreign country. 😐 English is my second language. I am fluent in Tagalog and can understand a bit of 2 other dialects (Bisaya & Ilocano).

Occ strengths/barriers:
I love leisure activities such as crafting, traveling, exploring the outdoors, exercise (depending on my level of motivation), playing sports as well as my musical instruments (piano, guitar, drums, ukulele, kalimba, and learning the violin). Right now, my priority is education and work (which needs ample focus on time management). I definitely struggle with rest/sleep especially when there’s not enough time during the day to learn/do everything. 🤣 I sleep for 2-5 hours at night on the weekdays, and sleeps in for 8 hrs on the weekends. (I know! I gotta apply more lifestyle medicine routine in my life 😅)

Environment/Roles/Routines:
I have a good support system. In the past 3 years, I’ve moved 3 times and will probably move 2 more times depending on where my future job takes me. I am a career-driven person. I am a happy 30-year-old gal in a (very) long term relationship. 😂 I’m about to finish my MOT (6 more FW2 weeks) and plan to pursue my OTD once I find my niche and passion in the field of OT. 🥰
