Plochere Color System
The Plochere Color System consists of 1456 colors derived from 26 basic hues that have been selected to approximate the range colors in the solar spectrum. The colors samples are created by silk-screening matte-finish oil colors onto paper cards. Sample sets are available in box or book form.Individual Color Cards are available for replacement or specification purposes. The Plochere Color System is based on Wilhelm Ostwald's color theory.
