For the Long Weekend
Ahhh the long weekend. The end of summer is near, but you still have a few weeks to complete a short hike at the freshly renewed Eagle Rock Canyon Trail. Get outdoors and send us some photos in exchange for a Collaborative Eagle Rock t-shirt. Just post the pictures of your hike prior to Sept. 8 and tag we will contact you to send a free t-shirt. We have had a major clean up and improvement to the Eagle Rock Canyon Trail. It really looks great and gives many new benches and picnic tables for people to soak in the natural setting. Huge thanks to Ch'aska Huasi and Esteban Perez-Pacheco as well as Hector Perez-Pacheco for their amazing and hard work. Please enjoy hiking the trail. If you want to help keep this space open and free to the public please consider a donation of any size to www.CERB.us.
We will be organizing the annual maintenance of the Eagle Rock Canyon trail and are in need of expert opinion from a trail builder or someone with similar experience. It will probably require shoring of the hillside and securing steps, but need advice on how best to proceed. Our contact number is (323)202-9261. Thank you.
