Why this car is quickly becoming a classic: the 996 Turbo may be the underdog of 911 Turbos but if you go under the skin of this car you’ll find a 911 turbo that has reliable and highly tunable performance. The 993 has power limits due to the nature of air cooled engines and the 997-992 Turbos are far more difficult to “hack” due to the advancements of the security Porsche added to its software and ecu hardware. One might say that the 996 Turbo is a sweet spot for Porsche power junkies. The 996 Turbo might be the best car for Porsche owners who like to turn their own wrenches and want a car that can easily sprint past 190 mph. Historically the some of the most hated Porsche’s become the most beloved. I’ll admit I had to drive a well sorted 996 Turbo before I was a believer. I now recall how hated and under appreciated early 911’s were 30 years ago. We all know how that turned out.

Okay, so I don't watch psychological thrillers very often but I'm excited that one of our cars got chosen for this film. It actually drew me in so much that I can't wait until Monday to see it! Never mind the car!
