Growing up, I used to have a lot of .

I wrote letters to my aunt who lived in another state, a friend from high school who moved to Canada, and even an international pen pal through a school program.

I loved the ritual of sitting down to write a letter. And I loved the anticipation of checking the mailbox to see if one had arrived.

These days, most of what arrives in the mail is bills, ads, and your run-of-the-mill junk mail.

Reflective Tarot Mail Club was born from a simple desire— to make checking your mail something you look forward to again.

I used to travel a lot for work, and no matter where I was staying, one of the things I always packed was incense.

Lighting it at the end of the day helped me slow down and feel a little more at home.

That ritual is what inspired me to include a single strip of incense paper in every mailing of Reflective Tarot Mail Club.

Not because you need incense to reflect, but because I wanted to create a small transition between the busyness of the day and the act of sitting down with your letter.
