Florian Ballhaus, ASC returned to The Devil Wears Prada franchise for its sequel, choosing the Arri Alexa 35 to shoot spherical Super 35 in 4K. He and director David Frankel aimed to extend the original film's "classic cinematic quality" rather than repeat its 2006 look, adding grain in post and using a Leica SL2-S for handheld sequences that recall the first film's 16mm footage.

The ASC debuted their 2025 collection at the historic ASC Clubhouse. Sponsored by Canon, the exhibition showcases still photographs created by ASC cinematographers and is curated by Paris Chong, director of the LA, with printing courtesy of . The artwork will remain on display at the Clubhouse for a full year and is also available to view — and purchase — through the ASC Store.
Individual prints and box sets support the advancement of underrepresented cinematographers, their crews, and other filmmakers through ASC Master Class scholarships.

The ASC hosted cinematography students from the College of Southern Nevada and the Los Angeles Film School at the ASC Clubhouse on June 18, 2026, for a conversation with Society members Oliver Bogelberg, ASC; Peter Moss, ASC; and Mat Beck, ASC. 1st Vice President Charlie Lieberman, ASC, made the introduction, and Co-Chairs Shana Hagan, ASC, and George Mooradian, ASC, led the session before roughly 35 students. Discussion covered what the ASC means to its members, developing a personal style, maintaining a work ethic, and early formative memories.
