At Love Overwhelming, our state-certified peer community based staff know what it's like to need a hand, and we are dedicated to helping our unhoused neighbors navigate the path to recovery and housing.

Our approach is built on a simple but powerful "relational service model." Often, the first step to changing a life starts with a load of laundry. Through our Laundry Love program, we provide guests with clean clothes, which helps us build rapport and trust. Over time, that trust opens the door to life-changing support like care coordination, supported employment, and permanent supportive housing.

As the lead operator of the Longview Severe Weather Shelter, we are committed to keeping our community safe during extreme cold. But we can't do it alone. Community collaboration is the root system that makes our mission possible. Whether it's providing a hot meal, volunteering, or donating basic hygiene items, your support brings dignity and stability to those who need it most.
