Longview Too Ambucs

What a long but great Memorial Day. Got up at 4 am to head to Katy TX to deliver an Amtryke. Oh how he was so patient with us as we had to make some adjustments to the chain etc which meant going to a bike shop and waiting and waiting. But so worth it - took it back for him to ride and ride. As nonverbal as he is he could sure say “Go. go. go”. This young man has had 10 brain surgeries. Born 3 lbs and at 30 weeks. At age 7 he had not only lost his dad but his mom passed away as well. What a blessing to have an aunt take him in and care for him. Such big smiles and could give great High fives. This 17 year old is so excited to finally rid a bike and have extra mobility. So getting home at 6 pm was well worth the joy of delivering the tryke.
