Through my parent company, Aim Point LLC, I offer a specialized writing program ("Make Your Book a Reality") to help veterans and others create their stories through connected writing. I also offer personal counseling and group coaching for those facing reinvention. I had the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy an incredibly fulfilling 30-year Air Force career as a pilot and officer. My book (“Aim
Point: An Air Force Pilot’s Lessons for Navigating Life”) talks about my amazing journey along the way. During my Air Force career, I had the great privilege of serving as both a squadron and group commander, a headquarters division chief responsible for restructuring U.S. military supply chain processes throughout Europe, and a trusted advisor to the American ambassadors to Belgium and Luxembourg, among other endeavors. Each of my 16 Air Force assignments required me to reinvent myself as I undertook different challenges associated with the new positions I assumed. Throughout it all, I am most proud of the outstanding men and women I had the privilege of leading. The units I commanded earned numerous awards, including the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award (twice), the Maintenance Effectiveness Award for best large aircraft maintenance in the Air Force, and the General Spaatz Trophy for best air refueling squadron in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, I reinvented myself as a software development program manager at a large technology company in San Diego. I most recently reinvented myself again as an author, speaker, and reinvention coach, with a focus on helping veterans and others successfully write their stories and navigate change in their lives through connecting with their values and exploring what inspires them. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. I am also a proud graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the U.S. Air Force Air War College year-long post-graduate courses of study in residence.
