𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬... 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐨!

I often refer to the healing journey as the hero’s journey… because it is not easy or for the faint of heart.

Many people don’t ever want to confront their trauma, triggers, and darkeness and choose to stay in the comfort zone their whole life because it is easier.

The hero’s journey is difficult… there are good days and bad days. It often feels like you’re on a roller coaster reaching new peaks and valleys, new highs and lows. You often question whether you’ve even made any progress at all.

It takes courage and faith to keep going and not return to your old ways and patterns. There is true difficulty in navigating the gray area netween who you were and who you’re becoming.

It requires a huge amount of trust and surrender to keep going even though you don’t know what the path ahead looks like.

Being able to surrender control and have a huge amount of compasssion and grace for myself in this non-linear process of healing has been the only way I am able to keep going.

And being able to embrace my imperfections and love all sides and parts of myself as I call them back home.

Know that you are not alone in your struggles and pains and that being a human is hard work. We didn’t come to this earth school for nothing… we came to remember our divinity and to fully shine and share our gifts with the world.
